Brit Awards Voting Experience
This was our third year in a row running the social vote for the Brit Awards, the UK's biggest music awards show. The social vote for the Best British Artist Video of the Year ran for five weeks leading up to the live show, with one nominee each week being eliminated so that the initial ten artists are reduced to a final 5 that are voted on live, via social, during the awards ceremony.
Year on year, the design aesthetic and functional needs of the Brits continue to change enough to warrant a new build of the pre-vote module every time. This year we worked to provide them with a highly configurable dynamic leaderboard that accommodates last-minute changes/updates, multiple states (pre-vote, live vote, closed vote) and can work with their strict legal requirements for vote eligibility. The end result is slick, blends seamlessly into their existing site, and provides fans with real-time updates as to who’s leading the pack in the pre-vote, week-to-week.
